This hat brings me all the way back to my first-ever hockey game, a Toledo Walleye game with my grandpa, parents, and sister. I didn’t know a thing about hockey, but the minute I sat down in the arena, I was hooked. The lights, the sound of skates cutting into the ice, the crowd roaring- it was magic. It was Thanksgiving break, so they dropped turkey hats from the rafters, and somehow my sister and I each caught one. This hat isn’t one of the turkey ones, though, just the classic team logo. But every time I look at it, I can still feel that first spark of falling in love with the game.
